Age 67

The current HR language specifies that you CAN return to 121 flying, if you're under 67. But it in no way states that airlines have to restore seniority, longevity, position so airlines will not take them back if for no other reason than the union would unload both barrels on the company. I'm 90% sure the union does not have a DFR to retirees, unless it has to do with retirement benefits.

Why is our union harming dues paying members by the opposition to age 67?
We need as many pilots on the property to have a class action lawsuit against ALPA. Let's start at 1 Billion dollars and bankrupt this union for the harm it is doing to older pilots. Act now!!

My problem with this is YOU DO NOT KNOW THIS! I'm not taking a stand one way or the other but I will tell you that those that feel that they are not being represented by this stance at ALPA feel that way because they were NEVER ASKED their opinion on this. It could be that you are right that the majority do not support an age increase. But it could just as likely be the other way.
