Naw, pretty easy actually. You have three W2's (4 for CAL?). Three hourly rates, and three new rates (one for each year based on what Delta guys made during that time?). Calculate the difference. Put half a dozen people on it, and it could be done in a week. We're only talking about 11000 people here. Then again, someone could write a bit of code and have it done in less than a day worth of calculations. Heck, my smart phone has the power... then again, we're an IT company with wings. Can't be that hard to manage...

Know what's really funny about all this JP vs. JP and sUA against sCO discussion?

You've all missed the point and are falling right into the company's trap. You're arguing about how and when to distribute way too little money, rather than all of us collectively saying, if it's only 4 big bills...SEND IT BACK.

You might want to take another look as I and many others have mentioned that they will look at the retro and if it not what we are looking for we won't read any further, which mean we will vote no and try to send it back. I don't think I am falling into any trap at all, however I can't speak for our leadership.

Ding. Somebody here or on another thread mentioned "fighting over table scraps". Don't snap at the other mutt, go after whomever is not giving enough food.
Read the TA in its entirety and vote your conscience.

So guys who've been below the G line and get lines over 50% of the time because of their ability to "preblock" days get nicer checks than those of us who are "screwed" by PBS, have to work EVERY weekend and holiday and get the tar abused out of us. Yeah, sounds pretty fair to me. Nothing like continuing to reward the ones who hurt us the most...................

So people who worked weekends and holidays should get more? A reverse seniority system?

If one gets more for working weekends and holidays, your "reverse seniority system" will quickly "reverse" itself.

After reading all the various ways of dividing the retro or Signing Bonus, as the company prefers to call it, I have drawn the following conclusions:
Each individual pilot is trying to carve out a bigger slice than they may be entitled to because of a desire to "get mine and screw anyone else". I get that-greed is a motivator that separates Capitalists from Communists. I don't want any less "than my fair share" but I am not willing to argue endlessly about what is "fair" - nobody will convince someone else to take less. We are all providing fodder to the UA management team. So let's take a page out of Rick Dubinsky's book and "choke the goose to lay more golden eggs" Gentlemen; we must throw this AIP back at the company and tell them NO! I want UAL to choke on the retro pay so next time they will think twice about dragging on negotiations and wearing down the pilot group.

It'll be hard to get around that.
