I got the good news yesterday as well! I had 7000tt, 60 turbine pic (upgraded 2 months ago), 121 regional background, and 8 internal recs. So FO's it not all about the PIC time anymore! Network, network, network is my advice. FTI was great for the sim prep well worth every penny. I used Cage consulting for the HR prep, they were amazing at working around your schedule! I even did skype interviews with them on a Sunday. They are also in Denver so you can do a sit down HR prep the day before your interview, very helpful. Ask for Dee Dee at cage she is awesome!

Thanks Irish for the info! It's good to know that there's still hope. Congrats!

This is great news! I have plenty of LORs (including a few from CP's) but still no PIC. Hopefully I can fix that before the year's out.

I'm sooo sorry to have to say this, BUT......why in the world would we ever hire f/o's? So many guys have taken the upgrade to get pic time, give up a good schedule just to get that valuable pic time. There are thousands on file that have applied with that valuable pic time..what gives?

I'll throw this out there.... There are many from the acmi background who flew to every corner of the world and brought our military home that have no job now and can't get any calls from anywhere. Many were regional fos who made the move but now are a lost tribe of refugees and chopped liver. Don't they deserve a shot too before some 4000 hour crj fo? Just saying...

Well, you didn't HAVE to say it. How about a congratulations to those who have no doubt worked very hard themselves to get to this point?

That's the truth right there! Those poor pilots are the lost tribe and there are a lot of them out there.
