Well, BS is the representative of one of our larger LEC. He has been accused of making back-room deals with the Houston CP. Questionable motives for the Super Seniority deal he and the Houston CP negotiated/manufactured to take to the MEC(The MEC voted it down). For several reasons we should all look at his actions relative to what he says and does.

The current MEC, while it does have problems, is not going to allow special interest control the MEC(United Pilots) for their personal benefit. The simple answer is we should monitor all questionable actions of our ELECTED leaders from JH down to BS.

Thanks for the history lesson.

Assuming no senior volunteers

40 DEN 320 Ca. Making the junior guy ~ 3800
20 Den 737 Ca. ~ 7020
50 IAH. 737 Ca. ~ 7250

1 GUM CA and FO with more to come later

Most if not all Den 320 guys will go to Den 737 Ca. If they secondary bump those 40 737 Ca's in a month that will leave the junior 737 guy in Den ~ 5090

Ouch.

Ouch.
DEN has always been a very senior base. The Guppy has just been out of whack due to the opening of it before the SLI was final. Now it's just getting in line with it's historical average.

Sorry, that's the most junior CA, or the most junior gear slinger? If that's the most junior CA, what's the number on the most junior FO?

Thanks.

Ouch.
I met a 2005 LCAL guy who got the 737 Captain seat in DEN before the SLI. He was moving there and buying a big house. I tried to explain the bump risks, but he thought "no bump, no flush" meant that he could never lose his Captain seat.

No need to argue. I knew he'd figure it out eventually.

Now he knows.

Probably need 20 years to hold the left seat in DEN after all this settles.

No bump, no flush "as a result of the SLI" meaning you can't use the SLI and say "Hey people are out of seniority, lets do a system flush re-bid, etc." Anyone who believed that they'd be in a seat or base forever are nuts. Remember we used to have pilot bases in LHR, MIA, HNL, SEA, ANC, etc and they don't exist anymore but we still have pilots living in lots of those places still.
