With FDX parking planes and the lingering rumor of the parking of our MD P&W's, ATL is trying to figure out lift requirements for 2023. So a Vacancy/Realighment Bid may be weeks away. FDX just stopped 23 domestic and 9 Intl. routes.

Another thing to consider is that FedEx was parking planes before Covid and my friend there said things a actually back to pre Covid numbers. I would not be surprised though to see a drastic MD reduction here next year. The recession is going to get much worse next year and you will probably see some of those effects here. Hope I’m wrong.

Totally agree, that’s my vote like everyone else’s at any outfit. If it’s just a replacement schedule as mentioned before than at least they are being replaced vs a loss. Maybe a loss in lift capability but still better than nothing coming on line. Soft landings tend to be preferred.
