Now that is fantastic idea. We need that going forward at our outfit. Especially as C2078 said the MD has dropped significantly in the international arena. That being said, can we have your -8s as we constantly show high demand for them and shuffle them from contract to contract easily.

Ha! The company loves the -8. We are potentially getting two more.

There is a new rumor swirling that Pratt may be willing to cut the price of overhaul for the MDs to a more affordable price. No idea if that is factual. It really depends on if Atlanta thinks we need them.

Getting whiplash from all of the rumors. First we were keeping the MDs, then they are getting parked at an accelerated rate, then we are keeping some, next major network cuts are coming soon (that one was this week), and now potentially keeping the MDs.

Would be nice if UPS would at least give us a hint of what is in our future.

Where is DS? That is his job. To inform his Pilots what is going on. Like 2023 767 delivery schedule, Gateways, MD future. But its crickets.

Welcome to UPS!!! You’ll know when either planes actually get parked or new planes show up on the ramp. ATL dictates everything, so when they decide, everyone will know.

Of course, ATL reserves the right to change their mind at least once a day

I have a feeling this is only part 1 until ATL figures itself out

So this creates enough vacancies for maybe 1 more new hire class? Either hiring is being paused or as was mentioned above, there’s a part 2 coming after the holidays.
