I can easily see no more hiring this year, provided they don't place any additional orders or something else unexpected. 2024 with no hiring seems like a pretty big lift, though, given the retirement outlook.

And the tide will turn at some point as it always does. Cyclical nature of the business. People are going to stop flying as much soon, revenge flying money will be over soon, return to more normal levels. While hiring may not stop altogether, 100-200 per month is definitely not going to last much longer.

You say this so matter of fact that it makes you sound even more unbelievable. Anybody who has been around this industry more than 2 minutes should realize that nobody has a crystal ball. Have you paid attention to retirement numbers and aircraft acquisitions at the other carriers? You might be surprised at what you find. Anyway, if making baseless statements makes you feel better about your life decisions then I'm happy for you. Back to the original post regarding not hiring this year or next, name another airline besides FedEx that isn't hiring right now, let alone all of next year. Not good

The Legacies have been making predictions they will be at XX,XXX pilots, XXX airframes forever. It’s all smoke and PR. Not saying the will stop hiring, just saying they will most likely slow down soon. People hired in 2024 and beyond are not going to see the meteoric rise those hired in the last few years have seen.
