Pairings/Schedule out of DAY
I'm curious if anyone has any input on junior lines out of DAY in regards to pairings, hours credited, etc... Are junior line holders getting 2-day trips sparsely trickled over the bidding period, or is it longer pairings? Again, I'm new to 121 so I'm just kinda curious how junior lines fall out there. Also, are juniors able to block greater than 75 hours? Thanks for any input!

Don't eat at the burger place. A few people reported food poisoning from there.
Van will take you to an outdoor mall that has Panera and a few other restaurants.
Also, hotel has a reasonable lunch buffet on weekdays for an affordable price

Two exits or so down is "Florence Y'all". There is a huge LA Fitness, a Meijer, and quite a few resaurants. If driving to CVG is feasible, I recommend it, esp if you have late night sims..

Having a car in CVG is great. I would recommend driving if you are able to. It is only a couple of weeks, but there really is nothing around the hotel. It isn't like Dayton, where there were restaurants everywhere and the van driver would take you where you want to go. I wish I had my car there. It sucked waiting for the van for 30 minutes on each side of the sim session.
The hotel restaurant is moderately expensive but they do give you a discount with your ID.
Hints for CVG:
- There is a "crew lounge" in the hotel. It is a great place to meet up and study.
- If you like bagels, free breakfast at flight safety each day.
- If you ask, the hotel will give you a refrigerator and a microwave. If they run out, ask for free breakfast passes instead. They will give them to you if they don't have a refrigerator (not sure if it is in the contract, but it seems to be)

The hotel has a washer/dryer. There is a quickie mart style gas station across the street where subway and raleighs is. It's no walmart but you can get some toiletries there if needed.
Also, bring a bathing suit, the pool and hot tub are very nice. There is a workout room too that is bigger than Dayton's but mostly bikes.
As already mentioned, having a car would be a nice luxury but not absolutely required. One thing about sims, there is not much down time. Two hour pre-brief, one hour post-brief, then getting there early for FMS and paper tiger extra study.
