No...wrong. Way to try and spin words. The bonuses were the one time $8,000 bonus everyone would have gotten if the last TA were accepted. If you’re going to lie, at least be believable. You, idlethrust, and company are the senior dudes that we hate flying with. 4 days of listening to you ***** and moan get really tiring.

I'm glad this vote ends today. Hopefully all the negative people that claim that they are hostages here, that we have Stockholm syndrome here, or that the other carriers have it way better than us will take their "services" elsewhere. This pilot group has a rich history of professionals that take pride in their work and don't just assume that the world owes them everything. This new generation of pilots that entered the industry making unprecedented bonuses at FAA minimum flight time requirements came in with an unwarranted sense of entitlement. Just because you have been compensated far beyond your skill, expertise, and experience to join the airline at a time where all regionals are hiring anyone that meets the minimum requirements, you have no right to demand overcompensation for your services going forward and less compensation for the entrants to the industry behind you. Every voting pilot has the right to cast their vote as they see fit. They should not be subject to the fear mongering of a few poor attitudes that yell, complain, and pass misinformation behind the veil of an online forum. In the future, I hope that bravado and determination is put to good use in becoming educated and volunteering personal time to actually make a difference.
To those that have actually worked on our behalf to fight for this pilot group, I sincerely thank you for all the hard work and sacrifice. To the professionals that I work with day in and day out, I look forward to continuing to provide exceptional service for our customers! Fly safe my friends.

This is a business, we don’t work for free and it’s not entitlement to attempt to wring every last penny on the table out of negotiations. I don’t care if you worked here 1 year or 30. The most junior FO is just as valuable to the company’s ability to make money as the 5 year FO. The company is going to try the exact same thing (as is their right and obligation!).
Either way, I’d rather the angry people stay. I like being able to pack for four days instead of six. Maybe you weren’t here when we were massively understaffed or maybe you forgot what it was like, but I’d take flying with someone disgruntled over never knowing when I get to go home.

What an incredibly condescending post. You cannot and should not tie labor negotiations to professionalism. Professionalism is how we treat our coworkers and our customers, and the level of safety and skill we put into our flights, not how nice we are to the company. I harbor no ill will either way on this one. There are good reasons to vote yes and good reasons to vote no, and I can respect the decisions and thought that each pilot puts into their vote, but I can’t respect someone who implies voting no means you’re some kind of entitled ingrate, or someone that implies voting yes makes you some kind of traitor.

Not condescending, but truthful. I didn't claim anything about negotiations being tied to professionalism but rather that anger and hate take away from it. I can assure you that no one here works for free and it's that belief of entitlement that makes you believe that you are. Check your bank account. You get paid twice a month for your work! I've been here long enough to have experienced staffing difficulties. In the end, I make the decision to work more or go home at the end of my scheduled trip.

So you’re a professional until they give you a contractual junior man and then you decide which parts of the contract you want to follow? Enjoy getting to go home while the rest of us do what we signed up for. If you don’t like getting extended, you can always leave.

So you will be receiving an 8k wage increase with this TA? How long do you plan to stay here? What year and seat do you sit? Stockholm syndrome at its finest. Second of all, I'm not senior. This is just a **** deal after the time put into it. If you don't realize that, then you're too new to the industry to understand, that is if we are making assumptions of our positions here. Carry on.
