Went well for me! Interview including HR, technical and Hogan all went as expected. Wasn’t sure how I did on the Hogan but apparently alright as I got the call! The gouge is spot on! Study the technical study they give you, study instrument stuff from back in the day and have a story to tell. Come with a pressed suit, a starched shirt and freshly shined shoes. For reference I have been here for just over a year and I am an FO.
Instrument stuff from back in the day ?????

It felt like an instrument checkride oral for me. Know all basic IFR and 121 IFR regs and procedures. It ran a good solid hour of asking questions while running the LOFT scenario as well.

Holding speeds, altitude definitions like MEAs, OROCAs. Other stuff like Lost com procedures. Just a lot of old instrument stuff. I would study the profiles they give you and study airlineinterviews.com TMAAT questions.

This stuff is still very applicable today. Understanding how to fly NDB or back course approaches, celestial navigation, or how to manually parallel generators may be old school stuff, but what they are testing is stuff that we’re supposed to know.

I was joking about “old instrument stuff”. The things that have been listed are just the current instrument stuff.
