Since no one asked, as I was trying to just be a lurker this time... were they already on the aircraft when the FA had to reassure them it was a Boeing?
It was as they were stepping through the L1 door during boarding. I assume it was due to the paint job. That would be the only visual cue to trigger a response like that.

Why is anyone worried? If our mangement is wrong and we fail we get bought. Since we have the worst contact in the industry, the company that buys us is bound to have a better one. Enjoy the ride.
Just like Braniff and Eastern's management was wrong and they got bought? No, they weren't bought; they put a bunch of folks on the street. Which could also be a real possibility for us if our management is wrong. Then we would all be looking for jobs starting at first year pay and seniority again. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened in this industry, although I don't think it is a significant concern for us in the short term.

However, we need to concern ourselves with becoming or remaining the most professional pilot group in the industry while working towards the best contract possible in 2020. Those are the only issues we actually have control over.

Wow Braniff and Eastern getting into the wayback machine for those. It is not a concern for us in the long or short term.

Oh no our best and brightest are on it again. Fly the Bus, don’t throw tantrums, we will be just fine. It’s almost spring, before you know it May 4th and Summer will be here. You guys and all you anger and hate. Heartache, stroke, there is even a link to cancer. At this rate the whole L-VX seniority will medical out in15 years early. It’s a job

If they do, it'll be because all of a sudden they all have to work an extra month and a half per year because of the horrendous schedules at this dump

No spin, are they really that bad or are you comparing it to “that one time”?

Since the summer, the schedules appear to have gotten consistently worse each month. And the bidding is the worst system I’ve ever seen. It takes many hours to accomplish what we used to be able to do in 30 minutes. Except for those instances when I volunteer my time, I’d like the vast majority of my time here to be spent with the door shut and engines running.

You forgot to mention the scheduling section; probably one of the worst if not the worst work rules in the entire industry, including regionals!
