Sometimes battles like this develop an inertia that is impossible to overcome until there is a total defeat of one side. Then often the other side realizes what that defeat cost.
The poster yesterday said that I would be dealing with a lonely cockpit. I wonder what he thinks a west guy with one month seniority, that was put ahead of an east guy with 17 years would have dealt with?
George Nicolau screwed us all.
This thing is looking more and more like WWI every day.

Their AOL handlers have lifted their restrictions from posting on web boards. I'm sure as more move away from AOL. We will see more west posters around,, and angry.
As r57 said the calculator has been used extensively. Though the west posters here have framed the Kirby proposal as equal to the MOU. In reality it was more like a regional contract.
I am fine with my decision. How are all of the west members with their monetary support for AOL. The first bill for addingtonI. Was around 2 million. Two cases since then. What is each member on the hook for?

You are correct. The legal system is nothing more than a capital intensive circus that feeds on the gullible and exploits their capital by handing out false hopes and un achievable conclusions.

Ok, so let me get this straight. For the last eight years the east pilots have done everything in their power to avoid implementation of the Nic award, including not getting a new contract. You guys have given up tens of thousands of dollars worth of raises!!! I'm a 75/76 FO and I make more than your A320 Captains. And you guys are criticizing the west pilots for helping to fund a lawsuit that fights your rope a dope, trickery?
You guys need to sit down with a calculator and look at like equipment pay scales of your peers and get a grasp of the money you guys have urinated away over the years before being so vocal of your criticism for the West Pilots. The APA has got to be wondering what they've gotten into here.
Good luck, all of you. Life is too short to spend bickering, gloating, and treating others this way on these boards.

P.S. If you make more than $180 an hour I am happy for you. Adios.

Well now that it's done, I'd like to restate what I posted a long time ago...FWIW. USAPA should present the two separate lists that are currently in use. The current west list and the current east list. Does USAPA have the power to present a date of hire list? Yes, but it would be foolish IMO. Nobody could successfully claim DFR by submitting lists that they are currently living with. East pilots would have the victory of never having the Nic implemented, but not the huge windfall of a date of hire list. West pilots would have the victory of not having date of hire jammed down their throats, but not the huge windfall of the unimplemented Nicolau award.
It will be an unwise overreach if USAPA tries to submit anything other than the two separate current lists. It will be an unwise waste of money if west pilots continue to sue for implementation of their unimplemented windfall.

I agree with the above. It's what the MOU calls for.

Agree. I've always predicted that a THREE way SLI integration would take place. 3 separate listS. It would seem an over reach, on USAPAs part, if a combined east/west DOH list is presented. This would most likely provide some immunity from a DFR 3 suit down the road. With that being said, we can all move forward and prepare for what will most likely be a difficult journey for OUR three groups. Unless the east/west group can form a unified front, the APA will exploit OUR weakness and benefit from our division. The Co. will undoubtedly take advantage of this. Enough damage has been done. Lets move this thing forward and secure a FAIR and EQUITABLE SLI for the New AA pilots.

You really need to stop and think for once. You are sitting on a right seat island out in PHX. Do you really want to delay the SLI and watch the east attrition keep on rolling without you? 62 captain vacancies for the April bid.
