Nope, offering another version of “the truth” is not deflecting.

One class had a 5 month delay, not true across the rest of the fleets and not likely moving forward. The statement that it is going to take everyone a year to get qualified is inflammatory.

Nobody promised foreign pilots travel other then Gateway which must start from a point in the US.

Does alternative travel work outside the US, I hear it can, but not guaranteed.

Again, we can spin “the truth” in many ways, what else is new?

haha. You haven’t been around long enough. MGMT is 100 steps ahead of us. This is a dirty ACMI carrier. Don’t let new shiny jets fool you, we are and always will be ACMI for life. Not yours, just your turn.

I get so depressed after reading boeingdvr’s posts. I’m going to go stab myself in the eye now. Goodbye cruel world and you evil, evil Atless managers. 😝

Is the Covid jab still compulsory for hiring at Atlas? Thinking about applying but need to know the answer to this one.

I’d like to agree with you but I don’t.
They’re being very creative with the truth:
The unrivaled Atlas Gateway travel program makes sure that all Atlas pilots have positive-space seats for every commute, meaning no more flying standby or using a crash pad. It means our pilots live where they want to live – we pick up the cost of their stress-free commute.

What do you think they told the E-3 visa applicants?

Yes, the E-3 candidates are advised that Gateway starts from a point in the US. Explained in the Corporate Presentation and in the interviews (I have told dozens personally).

Many are hopeful that there could be a foreign gateway or base, but there have been no promises made that conflict with the present system.

They will eventually run out of overseas pilots to fill holes... hopefully.
