Atlas Air Hiring
#9721
For a newhire most flying would be night DHL in north america out of CVG and deadhead to asia to fly around there and down to SYD. Some 17 day trips, some split trips. Someone on that airplane can probably help better. Once someone could hold JFK, they go everywhere, not much DHL stuff.
I'm honestly not sure how senior JFK will be going forward... Not many CVG FOs really want to bid over there anymore. I have a feeling it could become the junior base eventually, if they don't shrink it.

New vacancy award summary...
The pilot group shrunk from 1028 to 1026. The company put out a new seniority list today so I can't tell how many people left do to attrition or retirement. The new vacancy has two guys who just retired earlier this month on it so at least 2 retired. 11 people were hired into the 767, so 13 left counting at least 2 retirements in early October. 5 747 bases shrunk a total of 9 slots. My guess is that most of that was attrition and that the company won't put new hire spots there until they have to so that they can control the flow of 767 FOs to the 747.
There were 20 new hire spots all on the 767.

Hope it stays as-is. I like JFK-based flying.
