I don't know what your point of that is. If your expectations are that you are going to go to an airline that NEVER has a furlough rumor, you might as well quit right now cuz that ain't gonna happen in this industry. 4th airline? Haven't you learned that yet? You must be sloooooooow. So if you're gonna complain about a do over, please go and leave room for someone who wants to be here.

BTW, I'll remember your remarks if I'm ever asked to give up pay to keep you from being furloughed. Keep it up.
Please don't give up pay if we furlough. Don't pick up open time, but don't destroy the contract or there will be nothing to return to (like the legacy carriers).

If I get furloughed so be it, but I want to know what I am returning to.

In your scenario, lets say a junior FE is initially awarded A300 FO. But two weeks later during the Displacement Bid, he is then displaced from A300 FO to ANC FO (instead of back to DC-8 FE as per desired system bid). All of this happens before the effective date of the bid, and while still serving as an FE. Does he now have displacement rights (no two year seat lock), even though it is an "upgrade"?

AMEN to that. I am probably on the F list as well. And I do not want to see any IPAer give up pay or BLG. I want to come back to a good job. Not some peice of crap 65 BLG at 80 bucks an hour. Its the main reason I did not return to Brand X even though I was going to be based where I live.

If anything pay should go up if there is a furlough.

DO NOT GIVE UP A THING .........................PLEASE

I'm still saying the economy will turn in mid 2009. All we need is for consumer confidence to return as its at an all time low right now. No furlough for Brown, especially if our earnings on 3 Feb are greater than 850 million.
