UPS regret

Interesting is that we've asked him that a few times and he won't answer.
I do think life is too short to be that miserable though. Good for him for taking the leave and looking for something else. Hopefully he'll keep us posted on the job search....I'd like to know what he comes up with.

While sitting in the dentist's chair the other day, there on the wall was a large plaque with 50 or so very clever statements. Stuff like "don't forget to call your mother on Mothers Day" and "drink champagne for no special reason" as well as "feed someone else's parking meter." And right there in the middle of all these sayings was this one "Avoid Negative People". Each and every saying made sense, especially the last one I listed. In this profession, I'd prefer guys who are psychologically "under the weather" to just call in sick. If a pilot can't remain positive, they can't in my opinion, do a professional job. If that's the case, they should either get their head on right, or leave the profession to those of us who, under the same or similar strains, can still focus on getting the job done. Just my opinion.

PS. I've actually flown on Aeroflot both in their pre- and post-communist days and today it's a pretty nice outfit... Still like to make fun of them though...

Perhaps a short musical interlude to sooth those frayed nerves? Just remember, I'm smart enough, I'm good enough and gosh darn it,people just like me!

At the time he went by 'FreightDaddy' and believe me when I say he was was some short, or vertically challenged, ugly dude...
I won't even mention his man-boobs...
ooops, I just did...Anyways, fortunately he cleaned up very nicely when he got in touch with his feminine side!

What a great song...while Keith Richards may look like an 85 yr old career alcoholic/heroin addict, he can sure lay down a riff. Thank you for that Jungle. Awesome choice!

I'll second that recommendation. I for one don't want this guy on my crew...he's so distraught and downbeat that it would surely impact his performance to the detriment of more than his weak nature and apparently waning will to live. So many more have dealt with so much more adversity with so much more fortitude...dozens I know personally.
While he's apparently a genuine line guy, he reminds me of Skyhigh, who had anti-Tony Robbins-like seminars on the other groups for months. Thing is, personalities like this will likely sink into a similar funk no matter where he goes, so I pity whoever is saddled with him next.
Perhaps somebody should dissect this type and integrate it into the screening process. He wasted a spot that somebody else could have taken.
Good riddance.
