Hot and cold with DFW. However I think the variety of trips definitely favors the 767 side. Much easier to send a short notice trip on the 6 over the 7.

Is omni strict with the pic time if you have 500 non turbine pic but already 767 type with experience??

The 1000 PIC is an unwaivable minimum (or at least it has been for years)

Section 12 of the CBA is specific on the 1000 hours PIC, so any ammedment to that requirement would need to be addressed with the union.

The trainers tend to have more problems with pilots with time in type than those that don't, so having the B-767 doesn't give you a hiring advantage without the PIC experience. My opinion only, so apply and see what happens.

Thanks for the info.. but if its contractual and omni has done nothing with the union to change it then whats the use of applying?? It would just be outright illegal for them to hire..

The minimums specified in the contract may be reduced by the company. They will not reduce it (to the best of my knowledge) due to IOSA and customer requirements.

Sorry if this has already been asked and answered. What’s the schedule like? Bidding a line like 121? x on x off? Thanks.

What are the rules for being home based? Are there specific airports within the USA that you have to be within x number of hours from or can you live anywhere in the US (Alaska and Hawaii included)?

Officially there is a gateway airport city list that you are supposed to be within 2 hours of on Short Call and roughly 10 on Long Call.

That being said... your days off are yours to use as you please.

Any of you kind fellas mind sharing how much you are bring home monthly (FO pay) with per diem and what not. I'm trying to make a well informed decision here. PM me if you can. Also, if you had to choose would you choose 67 or 77 and why? Much appreciated.
