Any advice on how I can get hired at Omni? I've been perusing APC for a few weeks trying to figure out my next career move. (Regionals, ACMI or fractional) I'm an ATP 3200TT, 600 Turbine single PIC and 500 multi 135 PIC, flying for a large scheduled 135 in Alaska.
Would I have a good chance at Omni? I don't see any FO positions on their website. I have a rotational schedule and would make myself available to go to recruiting events or open houses, anything. I haven't applied anywhere yet and I'd like to be at OMNI more than anywhere else. Feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance

They've gone to a "hiring window" system, and evidently the window is closed at the moment. If they keep hiring like they have been, it won't be closed for long. Keep checking back. If you meet the posted minimums I would say you have a chance.

An industry observation does not a lifetime at a specific company require.... does it? Have experience and exposure to many through prior union work at national. Omni is a good company to work for. Very happy to be here. Does it show
Was something in that observation/opinion not accurate? or are you just throwing a dig at me personally? If something wasn't accurate, please correct it so the best info gets out. It's a good job and a good company. That's just my opinion though. I'd be interested to hear other viewpoints.

The defending the ATP/1500 hour rule stuff you see around today was my doing at the 2014 BOD meeting making it a National and PAC priority.

Yep, ol Cujo saved the aviation profession singlehandedly with one hand while fighting off management attackers with the other. My advice is to not listen to this guy as he loves tooting his own horn and managed to get fired while doing so.

Defending the ATP rule became a National and PAC priority. Sorry you’re stuck dealing with it. I read the white paper submitted to Congress by your CEO complaining about the ATP/1500 hour rule. LOL
I especially liked the ALPA it’s a pay shortage video they produced. The billboards around DC were nice too.
Seems you’re paying a lot more, and providing a lot better work rules these days too.... we told you that’d happen too. Come back again when you need another good spanking, or more industry insight.
This place is the best kept secret in 121 as far as I’m concerned. Love it here.
