They open the window anytime they are present at a pilot job fair (WAI, OBAP, etc).

That's incorrect. It was Open during WIA but not the NGPA nor the most recent OBAP Spring convention. Omni was present at all 3.

Default Mesa to Omni

Anyone here want to PM me I’d they’ve gone from
Mesa to Omni...
curious about the experience.
Also, some claim Omni is hiring but apc says no.

I know it’s home based, but are there more common starting and ending locations than others? I see they do a lot of flights out of Las Vegas and Seattle and sometimes Dallas. But maybe FlightAware doesn’t track all their flights??

AFAIK, the window is closed, I think largely because it's very difficult to buy sim time at the moment. They're getting their own sims which should free things up a lot. It's been a while, though, I would guess it would open back up soonish.

DFW and SEA are common. ATL I think, maybe less so recently. Plus every and anywhere else. The Secret Squirrel stuff seems to fly exclusively between the same few airports, but you know, if I told you I'd have to be killed by the Internet Opsec Police.

The Vegas flying is its own little minibase, you are not home based. On the plus side all you do is fly back and forth to Hawaii, with a day or two between flights.

Good to know. The IOE backlog has gotten unpleasant.

At least 2 classes happening in July. I had also heard training was backed up and from what I understand and all classes were canx'ed in May/June to get the timeline back on track. So it sounds promising that training is getting back to normal for the foreseeable future once new classes start back next month.

Start of training to end of OE was a little over 4 months for me. However, as above, that should be coming down. I've also heard (but cannot confirm) that training pay has gone up substantially.
