Are they hiring despite what it appears??
I gather it opens as needed. My friend interviewed a few months ago and was telling me about the company, so I was seeking more info.

Awfully quiet on the board lately. Any speculation as to when/if Omni will open the application window in 2020? I was in the pilot pool last year but there was a rather lengthy delay from CJO to class date... ultimately, the timing was wrong for me. Thanks

How long to transition to the T7 from the 76 as a captain?

Never, unless they open hiring to Street Captains. Youre eternally equipment locked once you upgrade unless the previous sentence occurs, or a new equipment type arrives on property.

So the 3 T7's they have on property are all crews hired directly into that fleet?
They are apparently (it's been mentioned here) getting T7's freighters, Those will all have crews hired from the street?

the freighters are not happening. FO’s can upgrade to a different fleet but CA have an eternal seat lock. Unless a new fleet type is added

Appreciate the response!

Aside from checking everyday, does anyone know if there’s a way to set up alerts when the application window opens?

Also, since I passed on a previous class-date, curious as to how unfavorably they may view previous candidates (kinda feel like I’d be digging myself out of a hole to get another shot)... Any input is helpful.

Thanks.

I'm not aware of an alert feature. Checking there and here is the best thing you can do afaict.

I was offered a class date, declined due to previous commitments, and was slotted in to a class a couple of months later. I wouldn't despair.
