True that. Jet Aviation, I believe. A General Dynamics subsidiary.

However, word was that, for next season, the Cards (and maybe their insurers, their players' insurers, etc.) wanted it on a CMI contract with a Part 121 carrier. Reliabile-ish info was that they shopped Omni and Eastern and awarded a CMI contract to Eastern. Which frankly seems insane, but some people think all doctors, lawyers and CMI carriers are the same. They're all licensed, right? So maybe the following year, after Eastern runs it for a season...

The rumor I haven't seen posted here is the one that claims that the Pats are terminating Eastern's CMI contract for their two 767 aircraft, and moving to a CMI contract with Omni. Congratulations if true. (I never understood exactly why the Pats went with Eastern, given that they already had a relationship with ATSG, in which Airborne was doing all the maintenance on the Pats aircraft for their Part 125 operator, Team 125.)

I had an email from them back in late August advising that they would notify me when positions would be open. They didn’t. So there’s that as a data point.
This is the second recent instance of what I would charitably call “disarray” in a freight outfit’s HR department.
I know you’ve been spanked already, but I’m gonna jump in too for a kick while you’re down and the world that owes you something is against you. You are expected to have initiative, determination, motivation, accountability and the ability to think outside of the box to work at Omni, Kalitta, ATI, Atlas, etc. these are non scheduled airlines that operate round the world and sometimes into hostile environments. Some of these airlines have a training profile that rewards the character aspects listed above. You are expected to be a professional and to work well with others. These are life skills. Please work on them. Regards, your fellow acmi brethren.

Ohhhh. That explains it, then. Alauof is like a 70-percent shareholder of Eastern, with Woolley having the other 30 percent.

Given that a significant portion of National's current A330 pax flying is domestic military pax flying (with some other gov't international), one would think that if they are looking for more lift, perhaps more military business (and perhaps some commercial charter) is coming back, which would buoy Omni.
