How often are you guys stuck on a military base during overnights vs being free to wonder about the area and explore?

Covid + Asia = stuck on base. Take away covid and you'll be free to do as you please in Asia.

That's... Unfortunate. A major boon of the gig is to be able to get out and explore. Wonder how long the draconian practice will continue

Bit of a bummer. That's a huge perk of the gig. Any relief yet in Korea or other parts of Asia? I assume you are usually free to go in Europe

Japan is where we are still stuck on base due to covid. It’s beginning to open up, so we will see if we can get back off base. South Korea is open for us, we stay off base in Osan, or stay in downtown Incheon for certain missions if we commercial in/out. Never stayed on base in Germany or anywhere else during covid.

So, the hotels on the long overnights are in areas with things to do or walk around? What are some examples of locations you guys overnight in? Quality of hotels overseas?
