So if Joe DePete signs this LOA without the concurrence of one of his biggest Pilot groups, on an agreement that will be undermining the bargaining power of DALPA, it’s going to affect ALPA national. I see what you’re saying. I haven’t been following this too closely, lately.

Is he expected to sign it? Has our MEC talked to him?

lol so.. DPA can offer the same benefits alpa offers fir the sane price? If so I'm down but I haven't seen anything that says they can so there's no reason to throw sand in the sandwich that is alpa.

There’s literally no way that DePete can withhold his approval of valid agreement. And while we may not like the loa, it’s a valid agreement.

So, good luck with that dpa drive. Eighth time is the charm?

He will be signing a agreement allowing 9E pilots to flow to Delta. It has absolutely nothing to do with DALPA. Our scope is between DALPA and the company. We are handling it correctly by filing a grievance.

And he's an ex freight guy, so there's that. No idea how passenger SCOPE has deteriorated over the years.

1 - 330 or bigger for every 3 RJs. Go get it DALPA. IF the company has made an agreement with everybody but us, and it affects our scope, that gives us leverage.

We have a bunch of 330’s and 350’s coming. Sounds like a great deal for the company. Not so sure about the pilots.

FedEx has way better scope than any passenger carrier. What does freight have to do with this again?

Nope. The TA contains flow down language as well. Flow up only wouldn’t allow the company to invoke 1.B.47.f exception two language to bring back the 35 RJs. Only flow down language gives them the narrow chance of getting those jets. The only way flown down exists is by being part of our PWA. LOA 9 section 15 explicitly states the flow agreement “runs concurrent with the Delta PWA including any status quo period under the Railway Labor Act”

FedEx sure outsources a bunch of flying during peak.
Edit: It appears they are outsourcing non peak also.

Why is it the wet lease folks get the good cities?? WESTERN GLOBAL FLYING HNL/SJU/PHX/?? Why aren’t these folks flying YMX, TLC, QRO?? Things of that nature ... not sure why they are allowed to take the better flying that we ourselves could be doing... anyone have an answer to why this is ? Can the union folks step in?

Here is a list of FedEx contract carriers mostly operating ATR’s but up to 757’s.
