35 Large RJs coming back?

He said scope is not for sale. You replied saying everything has a price, essentially telling him he was wrong and that scope is, in fact, for sale. I said that it goes without saying that everything has a price, but responses like yours make people have to say it. We essentially agree that Delta could theoretically throw some unbelievable offer at the union that would get the RJs back on the line, but everyone knows that’s an extremely unlikely outcome. Or, to put it another way, scope is not for sale.

Answer* It’s not. But we do get flow back yippee. Except in reality management would just liquidate them and then furlough us anyways during the next downturn.
Side note- As a former 9E, I implore them to realize that any Scope losses at Delta are very bad. Most people I know there are more than capable of passing the DGI that now exists. Seriously, I spent 4 years at 9E and plan to spend 34 at Delta. If you’re reading this as an Endeavor pilot, ask yourself “Do I want to flow after a longer wait to be a Delta pilot where there’s less flying done by mainline. Or do I want to interview, succeed and then get hired wayyy sooner as a Delta pilot with more flying done in house?”

For the DGI'ers getting screwed in this deal, they still have to vote yes, and pray to God DALPA kills the deal. Management's "Deals you can't refuse" has been the biggest turn off being under Delta. At least with NWA, you knew they were trying to eek out every possible cent, Delta will waste billions just to prove a point.

From: In favor of good things, not in favor of bad things
So I'm out and about today....not much time to look at every post and email...but what's in it for current Delta pilots? Agreements should to some degree satisfy both sides or all parties.
The flow back at this point is probably not going to be used by any current DL pilot....if flow back is ever used, it would be by those who are about to flow up.
From what I could tell, 9E pilots were not interested in DL pilots flowing down during covid when the compass flow down language appeared to possibly still be in play.
And the 35 large RJs will not be operated by DL mainline pilots at mainline rates, nor will these RJs expand the DL seniority list by 35 x about 10 pilots a piece.
What am I missing?

they have to wait until they violate the contract before they file a grievance. Im not sure if you are looking for ALPA to challenge Bastion to an arm wrestling match, and idc, the company gets to run the company and make choices, we settle things legally.
