I guess it varies then, last year our name tags didn't have equipment on them. The instructors for the day came into the room and read off a sheet what your assignment was. It would definitely be nice to know before indoc if possible.

Current CJO holder from a recent interview class.

I want to be DTW based and was planning the 717 to guarantee that. Reading through these last few pages though, it looks like the A320 may be the better option? Which one credits more and has OT availability? Main criteria is DTW but second is obviously lines holding/ pay credit/ quality of life etc.

Any input would be appreciated.

A 4 day trip mostly pays the same regardless of 320/717. 717 has more credit built into trips because they typically block less than 320 for the same trip value.

If seniority progression is at all important to you, go to the 717.

I'd be concerned about 717 consolidation into ATL in the next year or so which means reduced seniority as the category shrinks. 737 is least popular between the 320 and it so I would expect less people bidding in senior to you as categories shift.

Nah. Look at how many DTW717B vacancies there are. His seat lock will be up before that happens. Either that or he takes a nice VD/MD.
