Here is a question for the application before the interview.

I had a engine failure in flight (oil line came loose and showered the engine with oil, lost all pressure) in a multi engine A/C. Landed without incident shortly after.
Filed an ASAP. Never heard nothing else from the company or the FAA.

In the application it asks about incidents, but right above it says “FAA actions against you” , although not an action against me, I believe it is an incident.

Thanks for any input.

I know Delta gives out details with the CJO that says background checks are taking up to 6 weeks but I’m just seeing what others are experiencing out there? I’m going on three weeks and it’s radio silence. Turned in my W2’s the second they asked and haven’t heard a thing since.

Received mine on the 14th, completed it on the 17th, and still haven’t received anything yet. Today is the 7th day so if I hear nothing back I’ll send them an email per the instructions.

Question: got an email from recruiting that they reviewed my app and I had forgot to change my mil status from active to honorable discharge. They requested I fix it and update all again. Anyone have this happen and hear back after fixing the error? Thanks

Assessment invites have been sent out from a few days after the fix it email was corrected to a few weeks. Mine took 2 weeks for the assessment to show up. With how backed up they seem to be I would guess you will receive yours in a few weeks.

I still haven’t heard and follow the same timeline as yourself. I’m going to send the email tomorrow per instructions if I do not hear anything today, too.

Mine took six weeks. It seemed to range from 2-6 weeks in my interview class, fairly evenly spread across that range.

Thanks for the reply. Did you have complications with yours having to get them addition information or just took them that long going off the original request for the W2s

I had my paperwork submitted 3 days after the interview and there weren’t any problems. I don’t know why it took so long.
