I am wondering the same thing. I think answering honestly and accurately is best, but it would be unfortunate if that doesn’t get the application seen.

This advice is worth exactly what you paid for it, so if someone has some bona fide info - like from the company directly - please weigh in.

I'm trying to get a Spirit buddy hired. Other than me emailing him my LOR, is there anything I can do to help? I haven't tried to get someone hired in years but I remember being told at the time:
1) Not to contact Recruiting directly and
2) I would receive a link to my Delta email to submit the LOR.
Has this changed?

I'm no expert, but I would lean toward listing Sprit as my current employer, and not listing as 'unemployed' (lest you get unintentionally lumped in with slackers). It is easily explainable, especially so soon after the implosion.

What about the applicant messaging the Facebook Delta Pilot Recruiting group and asking them? That seems like a perfectly reasonable inquiry and I think a responder would understand an applicant in that situation wanting to be sure to get it right on the application. I have heard they’re pretty responsive to messages via that FB group.

Alright don't roast me, but I forgot to add a job to my Delta application that I did in college for about 3 weeks before I got put on military orders and had to resign. Application was already pulled, Anon complete, interview scheduled. Is it worth adding to my application now or just explain it at the interview?
Additionally, I wasn't following the Delta facebook recruiting page until recently. I went into a deep dive and found out they want you to list all military positions as separate jobs. I didn't do that but still got the interview, is it worth updating now? Again, interview is already scheduled. I feel like describing each position would give a better idea of what I have done.
I want to avoid red flags as I have already added a few things that I forgot like my ATP-CTP training and training at airlines.

If it were me, I'd lead with it in the interview. Hi, I realized after I got scheduled for the interview that I didn't break out my military positions as requested. I edited my app as soon as I found out. Here is a copy of the app and I'd be happy to answer any questions. Also, I completely forgot a job I had for 3 weeks in college. I added that as well.

Be honest is always number one. Things may have changed but when I interviewed, they said they took an app pull one more time before the interview to see what changed. They then compare them. What they do care about is adding things or leaving out things that may influence someone's hireability. It would raise flags if you had no failures and "forgot" to put them on your app until after you got the interview.
