No way to track it unless you stumble on a rotation with the remarks like that. I have flown with pilots that do the same thing he did. They constantly call schedule begging for a reroute or tag on flying.

Not to sound like a jerk here, but do you call them out for that? I know I would.

Has this been an issue in the past?
How hard would it be to add a PWA clause along the lines of:
First offense- forfeit all rotation pay to ALPA
Second offense- forfeit all rotation pay to ALPA + fine
Third offense- you're outta here.
You gotta make it hurt their wallet, or they're not gonna stop.

For what it's worth, because it has been suggested that pilots hired from Skywest are to blame for this behavior, the pilot in question does not appear to be a former Skywest pilot. Based on type ratings, he flew at another union shop before getting hired at this one. Just an interesting data point.

Delta outsider here. I was skimming this thread and noticed 4 pages about this one event. Can someone explain what this person did and why everyone is so outraged about it?

He's on a trip and it appears that he reached out to scheduling and asked for extra flying/reroute into an off day. This is flying that should have gone to another pilot, likely for premium pay. He also was already on a premium pay trip.

If, as a reserve pilot, I am skipped over for multiple GS because of a CS error (not intentionally 23.M.7'd) can I expect to be pay protected for at least one of the green slips? Any chance at all to get pay protected for both, even if they were on the same day?
