On the bright side, no face ID required.
Whenever I open Aerodocs and it starts with the "Access Library" button screen it annoys me. Like why else would I be opening this app other than to access the library??

I found the fix in the App User Guide:

Open a document, select "Bookmarks & Annotations," then select the up and down arrows. Deselect "Show Unified List." You now have a choice of Bookmarks or Annotations.

Default SEA 330 Lifeline?

“Delta will launch new daily nonstop service from Seattle to Barcelona and Rome beginning summer 2026*—4x per week to Rome and 3x to Barcelona—opening the door to two of Europe’s most iconic destinations. Whether exploring the vibrant streets of Barcelona or the timeless landmarks of Rome, customers will enjoy a seamless journey aboard the next-generation Airbus A330-900neo.”

Will the SEA 330 stay open past 2026? Any other potential EU destinations?

We will still fly the AMS, CDG and LHR flights and are now adding routes to keep Alaska at bay. That’s soon to be 5 routes? I think the category will shrink as the 350 grows, but since we already have the 330 base fully staffed and functional, it makes more sense to keep it with the new Alaska twist. My assumption is that we will see SEA 6 days from / through other bases, especially to cover some of the more seasonal routes. Having a pilot base in SEA helps to cover trips through there with reserves too, if nothing else. Seems similar to the opening of BOS 330 in that regard.

When did they say they were *closing* the SEA 330 base?

I believe the intent all along was to keep the 330 for Europe, but move to the 350 for Pacific flying.

The AE announcing SEA 350 was very specific....said (paraphrase) that if you want to keep flying to "Asia", then you need to bid the 350.

So your money is on SEA 330 will not close? Many on the SEA330 are not so convinced.

So it looks like both SEA-BCN and SEA-FCO will be farther distance than SEA-ICN with FCO being comparable distance to PVG. since I assume the reason for the swap to the 350 in SEA-Asia was performance, why would these routes not have the same issues?

Or do we just not care and need something quick to counter Alaska?

BCN and FCO like perfect W trips for BOS crews. Their 3-days are low block/credit, and BOS already serves BCN and FCO. Could probably justify 1x daily to AMS, CDG, and LHR on a 350.
