Are productivity in 2019 was almost exactly the same as 2000. We reached the bottom in about 2007 and improved back to 2000 levels since.

or do you mean less productive than other majors
He is full of it, he uses some number from 4 years ago showing that pilots here are like $1300 per block hour. It is totally made up and doesn't take into account a multitude of factors that could be used to really average out pilot costs but this number is used to temper our expectations. The Union could probably come up with a number showing we are the cheapest of the big 3. Total manipulation and it means nothing.

Just suppose that it IS true that we are unproductive. So what. What can WE do about it? WE don't build the schedules. Management does.

On several occasions I’ve deadheaded to an outstation and flown back only to have the same crew that flew me there DH back. Productivity?

I had this so many times over the Spring/Summer.. Reserve assignment or GS, fly to or from FL from NYC. Full 2 pilot crew, off reserve or on a GS going the other way. Not even close to pushing duty day or block hour limits.

What is your metric for this and where are you sourcing it? Can you also provide how it is being rationalized to account for a bankruptcies, a merger, multiple fleet parkings and launches? Thanks.

That must be why the deadhead section got parked. We use it too much for unnecessary reasons, and now have the gall to ask for improvements.
