Don’t like to spend too much time on things outside of one’s control so we’ll just have to see what happens. Overall I strongly believe Delta pilots have a bright future having and industry leading contract paired with an airline that is financially the strongest in the industry. Moreover, we are in the early innings of a big WB international expansion. I do not see the new head of Flt Ops having any materially negative impact on Delta pilots.

"I doubt things will ever get better now"
I didn't know where to start then I saw you are a 717A and I understand. Been there. 4 legs up and down all in the weather then off to JAN for 12 hrs rinse and repeat can certainly make even an optimist's outlook bleek.
Good thing there is a big AE and WB order coming

"You go high enough, you always come to one man."
If you're not happy with middle management, quit blaming the hired help.
Makes as much sense as passengers blaming you, personally, for [insert reason for incredibly stupid delay causing connection foibles here].

ASA never flew ATR-72-500s. They did fly ATR-72-212s. I would think someone who claims they flew it would know that and know there's a pretty significant difference. But then you make a lot of wild claims, and judging by the comments here you have a serious credibility problem.
I've never met you, so I can't say for sure, but I've read a lot of your stories here, and always come away thinking "this guy is a management stooge whose full of crap. Another bootstrapper who thinks his crap doesn't stink". Read the room man. If 50 guys are telling you you're out in left field, maybe they're not the ones who are wrong.

Either way his post history is his post history. Doesnt take a genius to realize he's got one focus and it aint the pilots. Management is good place for him. I hope we continue to cleave ourselves from the cozy Management old times in the future, so everyone can choose a side. No need to play both, this is a professional place, we dont need that kind volunteer.

hes real, he was even at asa, he spent his time working HR into getting him to recruiting event and spent his off time talking to delta HR at events. They hired him with some internals and hes local. He flew a little at asa, never upgraded, moved on quickly because he could. He just never turned off the sycophantic engine and it hoovers up whatever comes next. Frankly theres many with his advantages that moved up faster so maybe he's got something to prove.

Also in attempt to save yall time piggybacking on each other about me wanting to be in management, if I wanted to be on the 4th floor I wouldn't be on here wasting my time with yall. But that'll probably go thru both ears so feel free to continue your RG is the bogeyman and Trip7 is management wannabe posts. It's entertaining reading
