Well when your batch size is 969.....oh wait....

That's akin to saying proffers are the problem. They are not, the overuse of 23M7 resulting in farming is.

Thankfully, ALPA is clearly already considering it, based on the survey. Cannot imagine that wasn’t a very popular suggestion. Very few can benefit on that scale to be opposed.
This is the third or fourth time I've tried bringing up this part of the MOU without gaining any traction...

23M7 should not apply to WS/OOBWS if the "harmed pilot" has already reached their WS pickup limit. Much of what is described above SHOULDN'T be happening, unless there were a lot of 23M7 greenslips.

The communication for the MOU stated the following:

"The implementation of a real-time system will more accurately determine pilot eligibility when considering a pilot’s white slip (WS) pick up limit. This automation has already been in development and demonstrated to the MEC Scheduling Committee."

Now I'm confused. You tell me what the MOU DID do. The MOU endorsed the current new unprecedented use of 23M7. Call that compliance or noncompliance but that's what it did. Did it meet your objective, or did it pinky promise to meet your objective?

Batch size doesn’t matter now, it would still take the same amount of time to clear. In fact it would take longer with smaller batch sizes

no, it didn’t.

i’m optimistic that the qs and guardrails on identifying harmed pilots will reduce ia madness.

again, not one thing you can name that is compliant now that wasn’t before

If I have 200 pilots with OOBWS auto accept in for the 320, what does it matter if the batch size is 5 or 200? It still takes 40 hours for batch size of 200 (or longer with smaller batch sizes) to get through that step. So yes, size of pilots in a category matters.

Yeah, so? It doesn’t help get a trip covered faster.
