You're senior to them in all aspects, them being in that seat has no effect at all on your career or lifestyle. Except the saltiness that they had better luck than you in getting there early. These constant subtle jabs are getting old.
No saltiness...I could have been a NB-A years ago but I choose to stay senior in the right seat for QOL reasons...no luck involved.

Hell 12 hours from scheduled release to push qualifies as a long (downtown) layover. Think SAV or CHS. Hopefully this gets changed in next contract. It’s insane we are driving that far to just sleep.

I've had them refuse to adjust my time before too. And then when transferred to the duty pilot he tried to tell me "well you're legal because you have 8 hours behind the door." I told him well we haven't eaten yet, haven't showered, literally just got to the room, so either have them adjust our time or we will most likely be fatigued in the morning. He was not happy, but when we woke up, our schedule had been changed

Why do duty pilots always take tracking's side?

Lol, right. There has been a nice uptick in farming gone wrong FB posts lately. Same for "I got awarded a trip when I didn't have a slip in," style posts. They're usually followed up by a union member reading off off the exact time/date of when they input the slip request that they "didn't input."

One dude is having a problem dropping a trip next month, that should totally drop via his APD/IVD. Everything looks legit as it doesn't touch any APD holidays, has 25% coverage and his requests look good. Only thing I can think of is he's already used his APD or IVD for the year, but that doesn't seem likely. Just hoping it's not another company change in interpretation.

Sorry, it was only 4 days of flying, not 4 trips. I assume those 21 hours ate up all his pickup limit. Here’s the post:

”White slip Question! I had a blanket white slip in base request for June with auto accept on for on and off duty, and auto acknowledge off for both.
Also had award 2nd day flying set to no and award if dropping a trip into next month as no.

However, I was curious why I was awarded 4 days total of trips from that slip request.
Does the first PCS run for June have anything to do with that??”

First time 23m7 PCS is called “tickling the dragon”. Better know what you’re doing!
