Thanks for your analysis, I'll give it the weight it deserves, you've obviously missed your calling.
Those guys at Alaska must be idiots, what with all those Q400s at Horizon.
In plane talk, for the same amount of money you get more ATR 72s then Q400s. The economics of the ATR bests the Q400. So it's why ATR has grabbed 80% of the turboprop market share, although a Canadian company (surprise, surprise, surprise) bought the Q400 over the ATR 72 earlier in the year. Now the Q400 is sleek and fast. But it's still a prop. It's still limited in altitude. Despite costing the same as a jet, it's really not a very good one given a 500 mile or 700ish mile range. And who'd want to go that far at 25,000' anyways? If you're going to spend the money on airplanes you'll want jets. If you're really in the mood for props then you better order the ATR like everyone else has. For a passenger, the Q400 still slings props and has a landing gear issue. Keep reaching for that Q400 rainbow. |

I agree, Dan Mullin's team looked well prepared. Auburn is going to have a long year, they may not even win 5 games.
I don't know too many teams who are going to win when 5 of 13 drives end in QB turnovers and the rest are punts caused by the inability to pass. That ain't good. But you know what's worse? When the QB seems to think it's no big deal. You know what's good? Being at the pool the entire time! :D Thank God for kids. |

I think LSU put an Auburn jersey on Jordon Jefferson and sent him our way.

Kind of hard to generate -any- offence, when you keep giving the ball to the other team!
4 turnovers...why was he still in the game after...2 turnovers? |

. The Tigers should beat Ole Miss and Vandy, but I don't see any other SEC wins if they don't find some kind of balance on offense. Make that any kind of offense. Also look who's coming to town next weekend, Louisiana-Monroe. They should beat them, though. Sigh, Alabama's going to beat everybody anyhow, and now my youngest has told me she wants to go there. God, My money is gonna go to a school I HATE.
http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...IPO2yIyLy44T9y Yesterday was not the first time ULM has knocked off a major SEC team. Go back to 2007 when a Nick Saban led Bama got rolled: I remember the night well, the Alabama blog I read kept posting pictures of Katherine McPhee to help ease the pain. It eased my stomach pain from laughing so hard. Standby for Satchip to send me an up yours message on FB......... :D |

4 turnovers...why was he still in the game after...2 turnovers? And there isn't a backup. There are parts of the team that are really good and excluding the QB as a whole it's not bad. It has pretty good potential to grow and do well. It's kind of the Auburn story, since Shiz and I started in 96 I think there have been 2 years with QBs that were drafted to the NFL. We went 28-0 in those two years with 1 BCS NC. The rest of the time we've had good teams and mediocre to bad QBs. To get a dig in, kind of the opposite of UGA. :D |

Tim, it was actually 5 when it was all said and done, 3 INTs and 2 lost fumbles all by the QB, with -2 passing in the first half and junk yards at the end.

Maybe he could re-enroll at AU and play for them, I know the Jets won't be using him much. :D |

Don't overlook Vandy either. Franklin has those kids buying into his system. They looked really good in their first game against USCjr. Cautiously optimistic about the Big Orange's chances against the lizards next week. |
