Having also Nonrev'd through both AMS and CDG I agree with Jungle. AMS is the better choice. I always go with the most business class seats anyway as you arrive much more rested. I did have to purchase a ZED in CDG one time and it took me almost 2 hours of waiting in lines and dealing with multiple AF agents to get it done. So if you decide to do CDG make sure that you purchase your ZED here as it is much more difficult to deal with the nonrev situation there.
One last thing, most of the connections in CDG used to make you exit security as many flights are on different terminals or wings of the airport and can take more time than just clearing customs. Some other things to consider. |

It might be just as easy to take the train Centraal Station; there are plenty of hotels there.

Been about 3 years since I stayed the night near the AMS airport but the crew hotel there gave us a great rate back then. If I remember correctly it was like 65 or 70 euros for a nice place. Probably worth calling them to ask. Also AMS is full of hostiles if you want to stay cheap you can get a single room at one of those. Some rooms have a bathroom and some share. My wife and I have stayed at some nice ones, most recently in Venice Italy actually and it was fairly nice |
Just don't let her watch the movie Hostile before going :D

Agreed Bar. Delta management has made it clear safety is not a priority.

Pretty serious charge there johnso.
Johnso was referring to the marketing decision to outsource Delta flying to operations with very ugly operational histories. Delta's own Flight Operations are very safe and extremely well managed. We are reminded to focus on our operation and safety. Flight Operations Management has been exemplary. My concern has to do with the apparent failure to maintain "One Level of Safety" across the Delta brand. |
