The Douglas F-86 Sabre is runner-up with a 17 to 15 ratio:

Note that this is the Navy version, known as the F-3D-5CY-4h Sabreliner II. It carried a crew of nine, including a tailhook operator.

So, since you've been on vacation in Denver, where the air is thin ... and pleasantly fragrant ... Patchuli ...? ... How about this way around the carbon tax?
  • Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which separates out the hydrogen.
  • The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder.
  • The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas.
  • This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator.

These girls did just that. 1 Liter of pee gets them 6 hours of use from a Honda generator. All we need it to attach this apparatus to the efflux pipe from the lav tank and viola' no more APU use. Now when passengers board the jet and immediately clog the aisle with runs to the toilet we'll say "thank you :) "

... and you thought I made this stuff up.

For those of you trying to see future awards try going into DBMS>BIDS>Advance Entitlement>Advance Entitlement/Displacement Preference. You will have to enter our password again just like your changing your preference but it should show your most future category.

I assume "Most Future Category *None*" means no displacement?

Well, no category would be furlough, wouldn't it?

Why do the Chinese put English markings on their jets? Is that so P-3 drivers know what hit them?

Cool science experiment. Now the outhouse will have a light.

You can do the same thing with some citrus, a few pennies and copper wire. No extra tanks required.

Or we could plant trees to reprocess the carbon emissions.

At this point, aren't taxes just a form of crowd control?

Make use of all the good information available here on the L&G thread.

While holding down the fort, you could drink lots of beer and sell your urine for fuel.

You know I am right there with you, but in this case I think it is different.

I think what is going to happen is that Mgt grants this contract to emerge from bankruptcy - stand alone...This locks in Mgt's bonuses.

After emerging, AA and US/AW merge - oof. Horton turns over the reigns to Parker who then bait and switches the AA pilots.

This contract is all about Horton getting his bonus and not about a big win for APA. My short and not so humble opinion.

I dont think that will work, the CLA the APA negotiated with Parker only applies if the merger happens while in bankruptcy. They would have have to negotiate a new one after a merger...

Many would consider that an advancement.

Yes... what cracks me up is the water bottle beside the chubby. Doesn't leave much to the imagination ...

and yes... very well put Sir. That is exactly what taxes are and probably why people do their darnd'est to avoid the manipulations. The obvious answer is a Fair Tax, but our government's arrogance prevents them from giving up the control over our economic activities.
