That's not the study guide. To save money they eliminated any study guides. They condensed the initial systems into the VOL 1. Everything you need to know has a # beside it. I think they're going to eliminate VOL 2. That there is the MD-90s database. When cleared direct to a fix on the jet route you're filed for and actually flying you sometimes reply "um, well, that fix isn't in our database..." |

Got a super nice HP windows 8 lappy for 450 bucks. To afford a mac, I would need to diversify my bonds with the help of Wu Tang Financial. http://i818.photobucket.com/albums/z...asee/wugif.gif |

It'll be interesting to see what happens with AAL with the merger as far as LAX too. The master plan for PHX is going to leave someone with a ton of room to play someday...

Anyone on this thread have a MacBook Air 11" or 13"?
My Apple-Mac IIe, from 1984, (Apple IIe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) finally died & am looking to get it replaced. (Computer store said they can no longer fix it!) :) Anyway, looking for recommendations/suggestions/opinions on whether you'd go with the same screen size again, or would go smaller/larger based on when/where you use it on the road. Basically, I'm looking for something that offers the "ease of commute-ability" factor, but also isn't a too small to have decent functionality for what you use it for? (e.g. 11" screen size owners wishing they'd purchased the 13" instead?) Thanks for the replies. GJ That said, the Air is supposed to be updated early 3Q so if you can hang out a couple more months you'll get a much better one for the same price (usually how it works) or the same one for less. |

I also travel with the 13 inch Mac Air - great machine! Take a look at the Brightline FLEX bags system Pilot Flight Bags, Modular Utility Bags, Pick your parts - Build your bag - Brightline Bags. Bought the one at The Stopover Store and love it! Computer, Mcrib, headset, iPad, flashlights, ... all fit into the bag easily.

How does it fit in the maddog cockpit?
Just put your computer in the overhead bin located at seat 33A. Wait. In recurrent, how many of you are asked to list from memory where all the emergency equipment is by respective seat number? A Captain was telling me he had that on his last recurrent. He also got reamed on the debrief on a D period for doing his fuel pump check starting with the right pump and working left instead of starting with the DC pump and working to the right. The good thing was the entire debrief was dedicated to the fuel panel test and not some other stuff he didn't want to discuss. ;) The bad thing was the entire debrief time was used. |
