I get a call from scheduling at 1822 giving me a "heads up" on my rotation tomorrow which reports at 0500. She tried to make it sound like she was doing me a solid by calling me then instead of 0330. How legit is this? I didn't get 12 hours notice yet Now I'm expected to make report time which She knows I wouldn't have made if called at 0330. I've been on mil leave for over a year and don't remember this tactic.

Sometimes they get sneaky like that. It's exceedingly rare for me to answer my phone when scheduling calls unless I am looking for the call for that very reason.

I'm not perplexed as to how it happened. I just found it funny that everyone else is getting greenslips and he missed the bus.

Speaking of hawking the computer, I think ShyGuy may have posted. Go get him! ;)

I got him on my ignore list and stopped acknowledging his garbage months ago :p

80,

Guys bid what they want. If they have to have whatever it is they're flying, it's strictly their business. You don't want to be in the business of singling out individuals, or suggesting group strategies. And this is coming from a guy that wants caps/bow-wave, and no swap-board loophole to bypass max pick-up.

The idea is nowhere near as horrible as that icrew icon for it. That's just creepy.

The guy that pulled this one is senior in category...

Maybe he's a commuter and wants to make sure he gets a trip vs. hoping a commutable GS pops up?

True that! All the ICrew icons freak me out. I have a very sensitive disposition. It's all I can do to sign in!

Remember FTB's "alternate" logos for the clip art? I'll see if I can find them... it was hilarious!

KW is still among us. He put a lot of $$$ in pilot's pockets over the years, poked management's eyes plenty of times, and saved more than few jobs.

Stand up guy. All the way.

The ex-safety chair was another, although I will say I have the highest uber-respect for the current CAS chair.
