Which is what I heard Delta prefers anyway. I have heard they are not very fond of the flow agreements anyway-- not flaming, just saying what was out there is all.

I don't understand why no one understands this. Remember it is more than just CP that has this or something similar. Don't see why they would do that if they didn't like these bridge type programs.

I'm sure you meant "meet the competitive minimums."

Is Compass over staffed by chance?

From a historical standpoint Compass has more FO's on the list then in previous years. As of the July seniority list Compass has 446 pilots for 42 airplanes. 218 CA and 228 FO

Compass used to run with 400 pilots with 42 airplanes back in 2011

In 2010 the same contract language existed and they also planned on 300 new hires They took 20 a month so I expect the same this time around.

hey man, I'm not angry. I'm not a pessimist, either. I'm an idealist, and I get spun up when we should be making significant gains, but can't or won't. When our pay and benefits are completely butchered by incompetent, greedy, and/or lazy buffoons who are supposed to be looking out for the Delta line pilot--but who certainly aren't. When we send good money away from our pilot group, only to be wasted by a bloated bureaucracy, and gifted to groups trying to undercut us. Thus, my utter disdain for ALPA.

I'm just tired of ALPA whizzing on our backs and telling us it's raining. That's the company's job--not "our" "union's."

The company is making billions, and we settled for 4/8/3/3 and massive giveaways. But we did get to slide the bidding window 12 hours.

When I was hired in 2010 they were running simultaneous classes for (off the street hires/DCI hires) and (furlough recalls and flow throughs). We all met on day 1 for lunch and got to rub elbows.
