Fire away Carl, but you know I am right.
I, for one, enjoy Purple's contributions to the forum (albeit, I wish he would run for an office, volunteer and stand tall and proud with his ideology). It allows me to "think" and always be aware of my surroundings. Every-time, I get complacent or think things are going well, Purple reminds me that things can and will change at a flick of a switch.
Purple's contribution is to allow you to see the other end of the "hidden" spectrum.

I will now predict that we are not going to buy any new widebodies this year.
You hear that guys?
And oh yeah, the Braves will collapse in the 2nd half and not make the playoffs.

YGTBSM!!! Everyone ****ing on your cheerios? Honestly, have you even thought about the drivel spouting from your bungy? You are a cancer from the other side that is not positive nor worthy of any pilot sharing a beer with you. You oooze pathetic distain and emulate ideologues that do not listen to fact or debate! ALPA right or wrong is of no fact to you, that is obvious. Did you kill cats as a kid?

It's true, I do use ALPA as a punching bag. And they've earned it. But ALPA isn't the disease, it's a symptom.
It's a symptom of a complacent, risk-averse, and disinterested pilot group that's unwilling or unable to realize how much influence our money will have if we keep it within our pilot group (and cut off the fat cats and moochers at ALPA).

Irony much, FIIG?

At my advanced age my memory is fading but I do believe Fed Ex voted ALPA out and then found out how much a independent union really costs. I do believe they voted ALPA back in. If I'm wrong with my history I stand by my bad memory.
