As far as sick leave goes, I think I'm going to start a sick leave file in my filing cabinet. I'll get a note to "verify" my sick leave/s for the year and put it in the file. If I go over 100 hours in a year, I'll pull out a "verified" sick leave note from the file and get it truly "verified" by the company. As I read the contract, there is no time limit on when you have to verify a particular sick leave...

Or you could look at it like this:

300 new bodies
150 furlough returners
150 new hires
148 retirements between now and 31 Dec 2014

Means the seniority list will grow by 2 pilots. NSo while technically that is growth... it certainly could be turn the other direction quickly

Hi, Mary Jane, this is Richard. Sorry for not saying hello. When you look at the overall value that we’re going to create as a result of (Changing the SCOPE) unlocking the ability to refleet plus the productivity ( changing pilot work rules) that has been built into that agreement, we’re confident that it will be an important part of our ability to get to unit (PILOT cost) cost over the next couple of years to improve our margins ( increase our bonus) and our return on invested capital.

And, Mary Jane, this is Ed. One additional thing, we also reduced the profit sharing (PILOT PAY CUT) going forward and that’s an important part of helping to fund (Pay for the 76 seat RJ's) that cost growth.
