Also, when is the next AE? I'd imagine that would highlight where the first few classes will be going.

Thinking 717/88/73/32 most bases but LA…just guessing for recall

Anyone flown the 717 or 737-900 yet? PIREPs?

Heard from a mechanic in ATL yesterday that we had our first hard-broke 717. Something about no working lavs. Saw a -900 at the TOC. It's shiny. That's about all I have to contribute.

Told by CP type that we have two 717. If one is broke, than I guess we are running one with no spares.

I know one recallee who is starting Dec 2nd for ATL 88... they had a limited choice.

I saw three 900's at the TOC the other day.

No freeze thought, right? As things open up I bet a lot of them jump within the first year which should help the training bubble sitch.

You can scour the november bid awards, and look for folks with "indoc" starting on the 4th. I've seen them on ATL M88, 717, DTW 717, CVG M88, and NYC narrowbodies, I think. They do not have a lock of any kind, and can bid off as soon as the next AE (which is supposed to be this month.)

They are all getting tailstrike damage repair from their delivery flights.

Wilbur Wright;1511884]So why do you prefer APC? Is it the fact posters are anonymous?
Sort of. I am big on a "marketplace of ideas" concept. I care little about the politics, or who is right. I am interested most in results and success.

Anonymity should make it a little easier to admit mistakes. I am quick to admit when someone else has a better idea.

The ALPA Board, IMHO, could be hostile and some people appeared to take things personally. Here it seems we have a bit more decorum.

The metaphor Steve Jobs used to use was that of a rock polisher. You put in rough stones and they would grind against each other, make noise, even get hot. But the process of working together created a smooth, beautiful, product. At our best, that is how we solve our problems. A little noise is OK.
