Once again, delta shows their appreciation of the pilots in Atlanta. Same bagged lunches(probably leftovers from thanksgiving). Stay classy Atlanta. Anyone know what they did for the other employees in Atlanta and other hubs? I know, I know, I know! Complaining about a free sandwich, how ungrateful.

Up to $10 at Coney Island express in Detroit for crews in uniform. As of 2pm total bill was about $350 for delta.

That would be a bit more then the norm. I saw a total of 13 no op flights for the day. Can't view the reason codes. All were on the mad dog. Still not seeing any huge manning crises. I did here from a scheduler that more then a few reserves have sicked out of trips after getting a assignment. That is very rare.
I am not sure if it is true or not, but I have read posts that elude to the fact that you are involved with ALPA. If that is the case, how in the world can you post something that says or eludes to flight cancellations being due to pilot sick calls? Really? Who do you represent? This is abhorred, unacceptable... I can't think of any other forum appropriate adjectives that describe my ire. |

Oh keepers of the contractual mojo…have a "what if" for y'all… Am sitting at 75:01 on time…green slip trigger is 75 hours. Picked up a nice one last week when LC/IOE pulled me from trip (yes…I know…applause excepted…). Now then…have a 4 day starting the 27th…what if I were to try and get a GS w/ Conflict for tomorrow, the 26th, that allowed me to get done sooner than the original 4 day? Would that GS w/ Conflict knock me down below the required 75 hours needed to trigger the GS pay? I know that you can go -5 from bank but would that not make it hard to get back up to 75 hours for the trigger by replacing a regular trip on the 27th with a GS w/ Conflict?
