Showed up to airport two weeks ago, one of our FA's parked in a handicap spot with a permanent handicap plate and limped into the bus stop with her uniform on. Yup, CA next to me couldn't let it go...while standing in the bus stop it got colorful.

I'll take that as opposed to the part time real estate agent who pushes her way to the front of the line, takes one of her bags plops it on the top of the bus stairs (not the rack, the aisle) then repeats the process with four more bags (pushing her way to the front of the line which is all stacked up due to the beaver dam of bags she built, all the while talking on her cell phone about her ex-husband to a prospective buyer.

I figured on of the other flight attendants would call her out. Nobody said a word. I sat wondering what her reaction would be if a passenger did EXACTLY what she did while boarding an airplane.

What's interesting about the "war" with Alaska is who's catching most of the stray bullets in SLC.

Lets see, both Delta and Alaska have "and beyond" passengers who are connecting (nearly 70% for Delta). Guess who doesn't have connecting flow, guess who's been very vulnerable to poaching from Alaska in the past? I'd love to do to Southwest in Portland same as was done to them in Spokane and Boise.

No cats were harmed in this post.

She wouldn't notice a passenger doing that while she is raiding the galley. "Hey, can you call catering, they forgot a first class meal and 10 snack boxes..."

The other day the caterer and their supervisor was stocking the airplane and the A-line took a moment to explain all the stuff that was set up wrong and what needed to be corrected and on and on. As soon as she left the supervisor told the new guy, "listen, you're going to have flight attendants tell you that stuff all of the time. Do it the way we've been told to do it and leave it at that."

I still find it funny that the attractive female FAs and just about every guy FA gives almost no issues. They're self sufficient, capable and do a good job. The people who don't get it seem to be the most vocal.

If they hit their goals, $100 is very doable IMHO... not anytime real soon, but well before I retire.

(EPS growth of 10-15% and a multiple of 17...)

The Supervisor's attitude is intolerable, even if they are right.

We took an hour plus delay, which resulted in an hour delay all day, causing a head of State from Santo Domingo to mis connect over 4 hoagies earlier this year (and the issue may have been the short carts, things in the back carts get lost).

If I would have had any idea, I'd have bought the "crew meals" and expensed them, but rather than bringing the food they audited the carts, then brought the food. The "audit" took 45 minutes past departure and the food another 30. That's no way to run an airline.

We need a operational red coat who can fuel an airplane, send in a bag count, and throw sandwiches to hungry flight attendants. ... and I kinda don't blame them. While you and I might pack nutrition bars for the inevitable re-route + tight turn, they figure they are doing a 12 hour day with a turn and food. Gotta eat something.

I'm not sure I understand that graph... Can you 'splain what I am looking at with say... PDX? TO me it looks like WN has a pretty hefty share of the market in that one
