Not dumb and yes it is.
The E135 is a 37 seater, E140 is a 44 seater (hello scope clause work around) and the E135BJ... :D :D is the corporate version. |

I'm always puzzled by the fact that some CA's ask me to call for push, then run the checklist. Others, the opposite. Shouldn't this be standard -- one way or the other?
And as long as I'm on my soapbox, why not just link out time with movement on all aircraft? Then the beacon will be a moo :p point. That is the essential point concerning "gate latency." Amirite? How many pilots?
What is the current head count and where does one find that? Also, what is the most senior new hire's number?

Not investment advice:
IMO, the holders of special issue DAL 401K shares should have sold a long time ago and then rebought when it dove down to $6 and came back up a couple years ago in a separate investment account. That is what I did ($7)and as a shareholder, I am happy to take the dividend. As I get older, I realize more and more the benefits of dividends as opposed to appreciation. They are both good, but there's nothing wrong with a dividend. Another observation is that for the short-medium term, any time DAL drops down to the low 30s, it's a buy. It has very clearly shown it upward trending trading band. With that said, for the day trader in me, I should sell now and re-buy on the dip. DYODD When you show somebody what the result after 10 years of a stock that pays 5 percent, has increased there dividend by 5 percent or greater for 50 years, they typically don't believe it until they run their own numbers. |

So, you would rather have a quick vs good deal? (I'm thinking FAR 117 "stuff")
I'm thinking that the fact we haven't settled for something we don't want is a good thing. It's clear the company is playing hardball. Why not ramp up the pressure? For starters, DALPA needs to grant a no-interest loan to everyone being held hostage with PDs for following the contract. I don't want a rushed, bad deal. Been there, done that with C12. We should expect some vocal LEADERSHIP and some sign that MD will not lay down when the company starts stonewalling. Is that too much to ask? |

... wait for it .... ...wait for it .... ...just a little bit longer ... the turning on of the dreaded BEACON  I'm more concerned with free piece of cheese called "door pay" sitting over there on that wodden plank. Looks so tasty and free too... |
