Another consideration is we need to get flying on the property. Once we own the market, then we price the market. Both considerations benefit you and are in perfect alignment with each other, as well as long standing labor practice. I agree about getting this flying back, however I am not willing to spend any capitol to do it. The regionals are not able to fill interview slots let alone classes if this continues this problem will be self correcting. |

Or in other words, what flying position does my Delta experience entitle me to in the Navy, over a current Navy pilot?

They should both interview for the mainline job.

the CPZ guys all interviewed for a job at NWA to get that job at CPZ. That was the basis under which the flow up was constructed.
NWA actually hired ~190 of their own pilots in '07/'08, at the same time that the Compass pilots were interviewing and being hired by their own respective interview/HR team. (There was a retired NWA Captain on the hiring board of Compass interviews.) Another tidbit of useless information. The Compass certificate is the old ACA/Independence Air certificate, used by NWA to start the Compass "brand" after Indy Air's demise of trying to be a LCC with 50-seat RJ's. GJ |

You must not be counting LAX as a hub. We have two choices very expensive and even more expensive. And oh yeah - if you want Coffee in the morning you are rarely more than number 50 in line.

what in the world does that have to do with anything whatsoever?
The only time perceived entitlements matter is if they benefit us (unity) or management (flow through). |
