Might or might not is quite an assumption. The 717s are the biggest driver of pilot growth so far. The 330s aren't coming till next year and have no impact on the 705 additional pilots required since C2012 was ratified. Can you cite any documents, statements by senior management, or SEC disclosures which would indicate that the 717s were coming regardless of C2012?

IIRC there were several hundred pilots who also returned from MLOA during that time frame as well.

I don't have access to it. I'm asking for it, but the people with the proof won't release it.

See above.

Unintelligible.

I thought he was the media guy for National, nevermind. I have no idea what your MEC is paying guys.

My point is twofold.

Why do we need such a position, now?

Emphasis now.

Why are we creating a position that basically was covered under the Communication Chairman under full FPL?

705 more pilots required since C2012 and climbing.

That would explain why the amount of hiring thus far has been less than the increase in required pilots.

Agreed. In your opinion then, is there a substantial difference in the influence that the MEC has, for example, over the Negotiating Committee vs. over the Communications Committee (through the MEC Chairman)?
