Maybe some of the older guys that are sailing off....but even then why wouldn't you want to leave Delta better than you left it? If you can't find the time to vote...you get what you get.

I'm both a company guy and an ALPA guy. I love my job and I support my union. I choose to participate in the process. That means I fly as professionally and safely as I can...it also means that I loyally support our union and fight for what's best for me and my family. Delta has been good to me in my recent short term disability. ALPA has also been equally accommodating and supportive. There have been some hiccups but I'm really proud to represent both.

Agreed +717. Very well put.

(Are you like a professional writer or something?;) )

That brought the bar at the layover last night to our feet. Amazing work by the receiver. The QB launched that ball at about a 45 and the USC defender was there, perfectly set up, in a "come to Papa" stance when the receiver jumped right in front of him.

Quick scheduling question. I know guys were talking about bidding trips and reserve days in the "shadow" period for IOE. Is the same technique recommended during the time you have training "TR" on your schedule? Will it award you trips or reserve days over the time that TR is pre-posted on your schedule? Thanks!

Love ya T!

Not too sure about that. I am in junior in a dying category... Climbing a burning rope as it were. Since the 74s are going away, and the 330s won't be here anytime soon, I envision moving backward for awhile. And I do believe that those things will go more junior. That being said though, I believe I made myself clear some time ago that this is one thing that will make me a one issue no voter. Nope... wouldn't be prudent... ain't gonna happen.

What a day yesterday was. It looks like Mississippi and Arizona are the new football meccas, no?

... and sadly, the streak continues.

If we as a group are not willing to risk anything I don't seeing us making substantial gains.

What does that mean? If you perceive C15 as being acceptable and vote yes, then you have violated your second sentence because you will not have "risked" anything. So doesn't that mean you have to vote no? I'm just trying to understand what it is that defines "risk".

The first game of the season this year, there were 34 players that started for the VOLS that had never played in an FBS game. We are also starting 21 true freshmen. FU has an overabundance of 5 star talent, and they beat us by one point. All in all, things are looking up, and we apparently have commits from 2 of the top 5 defensive ends for next year. I did think we had a chance against the lizards though. And yet another Florida quarterback has a coming out party against the Big Orange. :( Our bad Karma from the Fulmer thingy was John Chavis going to LSU and doing what he didn't do in Knoxville.

But at least Muschump's job is safe for another little while. Gator fans... you're welcome. bwaaaa haaaaa haaaaa
