Haha. Yes. No. No I can't. But if I could is post some gifs I saw of that Italian girl on the food network that are from her show. Taken out of context is hilarious, and I'd be banned but loved for posting them.

But to the point, it'd be like arguing this: if Seattle hasn't intercepted Brady in the first quarter of the super bowl then they would have lost their defensive star and would have blown the Patriots out.

Meh. Now if you said if Seattle had handed the ball off on the 1/2 yard line with 30 seconds left they would have won, yes. Very likely.

I think isis was Zarqawi bunch started in 1999,what they would be today who knows but they didn't start after 03 and would have existed and grown anyways. Sadam might have said the enemy of my enemy. .. or maybe gone kaddaffi on us and turned around some, only to be deposed and just like isis did in Libya isis could have done in iraq. Who knows.

Now what would isis be if more recently we he had not announced a withdraw date and then later withdrawed? What would isis be? They're a nasty bunch, and everyone wants to fight them now, which ironically we were doing when they were AQI, but we were considered the bad guys because those were just... freedom fighters, or something. I still find it interesting that American sniper was a hit in... Iraq? What do they know that had them cheering for Chris Kyle in the theater?

At any rate, my concern as I think everyone's is, isn't about a draft and sending our kids over there, it's about them killing our kids at a mall attack here like in Kenya or a wholesale slaughter of kids at a school here as they did in Pakistan recently.

I hope the King of Jordan finds success flying today.

I had the pleasure of going on the "Dakar Diet" on a 110 hour layover. Got sick and well on that one

This is supposedly the Clint Eastwood line that King Abdullah quoted:

“Any man I see out there, I’m gonna kill him. Any son of a ***** takes a shot at me, I’m not only going to kill him, I’m going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down.”

I have had some self induced isues as well. One time I went to taco cabana on the short layover in San Antonio. It was worth it but thIngs went downhill when despite my desperation to get to a safety place my hotel key refused to work.

I remember 80 called it the turbo taco poop walk. That was about right. I didn't call in sick, but I thought about calling in sad.

In SDs weekly update under the "pilot productivity" portion he says sick leave usage has gone up 25% since 2012 and that a 2015 flight ops goal is to get back to industry norm. interesting.......

After SD implying Delta would start hiring in the fall of 2012 if we accepted C12...and after his memo to unilaterally alter the contract during 117 negotiations...and after he took hostages during those negotiations...I don't trust him one bit.

I think having 1000 young buck new hires too scared to use their SL just might get us there.

No kidding. I don't even bother reading anything with his name on it. He's not on our side. He is flat out sitting on the other side of the negotiating table. That being said, you can bet your ass our 2015 sick leave will be a concession from 2012's. It never crosses the company's mind that we had pilots flying sick in the past. They are more worried about industry standard then they are about having sick pilots in the cockpit.

Hello, age 65? How many pilots did we have over 60 in 2012? How about now? When you run max hours during the summer and only offer summer vacation weeks to a few pilots, does that have anything to do with it? How about having the most commuters of any airline and a huge operation in NY that melts down every time a light breeze and some drizzle rolls in? FAR 117 came into effect, and many pilots are pushing the limits of that new reg every day now. How are these issues being factored into that goal?

If it is higher, is that any surprise considering we are the only major that doesn't pay out unused sick time? So does that put us at a competitive disadvantage if our company gets to pocket the cash instead of giving it to the pilot that accrued it? I'm sorry, but you can't have it both ways...
