Our scope now--while still needing improvement--is vastly superior to what we had in C2K...you know, the contract everyone aspires to revert to. Pay-wise, yes. Everything else, no.

The pilot of one airplane got out and parachuted safely to the ground. The other airplane, damaged but still flyable, the pilot was able to dead-stick to the strip they were jumping from/to and landed safely.

The part the video doesn't show was that the trail airplane's pilot was 'high' on the lead, in addition to flying cross-cockpit!! He lost visual of lead underneath his own instrument panel and tried to acquire by lowering the nose. That's the point where his prop contacted/shredded the empennage of the lead airplane and well, the rest is on video!! #formation-flying-101

It's miraculous nobody was hurt or killed. This 'team' has a history of these 'situations'.

You might need to join in on the sick time abuse bonanza, because you're high if you believe that.

I agree with you, mind you, but I don't trust the other 51% of the list who toes the company line.

If by some crazy chance, I'm there to vote on the next contract, I'll be right there with you on the "No" side of things (under your above scenario).

It's on the link to the "white paper" report. They can collect all the data they want, but without a change to our contract we get 100 hours unverified. They can't just change it because they perceive some are using too much.

Between the group of us skimming, we make somewhere near a complete brain. And by somewhere near, I mean that in a very general "near-ish-ish" sense.

My LEC rep told me that at the previous MEC meeting there were members of the MEC who stated they were willing to trade away PS for pay raises.

I do not know who they MEC members were because I did not ask. I was happy when my rep told me he was opposed to it.

If I'm not mistaken we get approx. 1/3 of the PS. Does this mean this reduction paid for roughly 6% of the raise as the company was able to reduce PS to other employee groups?
DALPA decided that 15 percent of 2.5 billion in pretax profits was worth about 6 percent of your earnings for a profit sharinf check. They took 1/3 of that away leaving you with 4 percent for the first 2.5 billion in pretax profits. Equal to 2 percent of pay. It was a good move, but it helped hide that our contract was nowhere near what anyone was expecting.

Anyone know the current layover hotel in FLL. Trying to find a option under 500.00 for the Miami boat show.

With a post like this, if the TA comes out without PS ever being touched, I expect you, Purple, Hockey, et al to be the first ones posting your Mea Culpas here.

GZSG,

Believe it or not, I am complete agreement with you and Purple with regards to certain reps who want to reduce profit sharing. I have ZERO doubt that there is an active campaign rightly or wrongly, to reduce the amount of profit sharing...

That being said, because somebody had a different opinion is it really necessary to call them "whiney and pathetic?"
